The car-sharing service, Lyft, has acquired Hitch, a new mobile application development company car-pooling, to integrate the service with its own, set up since last month.
"Like Lyft, Hitch has always believed that the shared transport experience is inherently social and we are excited to join the team to accelerate this move together," Llyft wrote in a blog post Monday.
The financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed. The co-founders of Hitch, Snir Kodesh and Noam Szpiro will join the Lyft team as the company expands to more US cities. Hitch offers her services in San Francisco.
