Did Google Calendar have a problem?

Has Google Calendar crashed? Google's widely used calendar service, which syncs with many of our business and personal email accounts, seems to be working fine right now, after an hour of downtime.

Around 9:24 a.m. GMT, Google Calendar has crashed for users around the world, including the United Kingdom, Europe, and even India, pointing to a widespread problem in server.

Some TechRadar employees have seen Google Calendar crash, with error code "500" appearing instead of the usual view of events, meetings, and reminders. Thousands of users reported the problem on social media and in reporting forums.

Google contacted TechRadar directly to say that "this issue is fully resolved" and all aspects of Google Calendar are working properly. The service must have been down for about an hour.

The problem seems to be limited to the browser service versions and not to mobile applications, so some of you may not even have noticed!
