MacOS Monterey is now available on all Macs!

Apple has launched the latest macOS, macOS Monterey. The latest macOS has already started to be released on all machines and is coming as the successor to macOS Big Sur. MacOS Monterey was unveiled by Apple in June during the company's World Wide Developers Conference (WWDC). It brings new features like a redesigned Safari browser, new FaceTime updates and other features like focus mode, Universal control and more. With macOS Monterey, Apple focuses on using multiple devices and a more fluid experience.

The update comes as a free upgrade for all Mac users. Apple PC users will receive the update automatically. To download the update, users must go to System Preferences> Software update. Users can visit "About this Mac" from Apple's menu to check for updates. In terms of features, macOS Monterey comes as a user experience update and not as a redesign interface.

With Apple focusing on multi-device support, a Universal Control feature allows users to seamlessly use different devices such as the iPad or MacBook or an Apple Mac or even the Apple Pencil - all at the same time. The new macOS also brings AirPlay to Macs. Users will now be able to play music on their iMac speakers via a fast, wireless connection.

FaceTime receives many updates, including Spatial Audio support, a new Grid view, and the ability to include non-Mac users in FaceTime calls. Safari also gets a cleaner user interface and group tabs. Shortcuts on macOS Monterey work as with iPhone or iPad, helping users automate tasks on a Mac.
