Amazon.com Inc (AMZN.O), it seems that it will allow individual groups to decide for how many days the corporate employees are expected to work from the office within a week, said the CEO Andy jassy in a message to his staff on Monday.
Earlier, Amazon policy required its employees to return to their normal work at office, from January 3 for at least three days a week.
In a message posted on Amazon's blog, Jassy said that the company's corporate employees will be able to work up to four weeks a year at full distance from any location in the country of employment.
Amazon, one of the largest private employers in United States, would also require its employees to be close enough to their teams to be able to attend the meetings, within a period of one day.
The company, which began field vaccination for its front-line employees in the United States in March, has taken a flexible approach to reopening like Microsoft Corp. (MSFT.O), which has said it will take an approach per location regarding the opening of its offices in the United States of America.
