Pre-orders for the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Pro have started, and while many customers have successfully pre-ordered, some have had problems trying to complete their purchases via Apple Card or Apple Pay.
Some customers turned to Twitter to express their frustration with the pre-order process, and shared screenshots of the errors they received, such as “There was a problem with the card details you entered"Or"Something went wrong“. Apple's system status page does not yet identify any common issues with your Apple Card or Apple Pay, but it is clear that several customers have been affected by the problems this morning.
In the US and the UK, some affected customers try to pre-order through the upgrade program iPhone, but this is not always the case.
There is no clear solution to the issues at the moment other than switching to a different payment method, but for Apple Card holders, this could mean losing 3% of Daily Cash.
Pre-order issues have also resulted in some customers missing out on securing the preferred iPhone 13 configuration for delivery on the release date on September 24, as delivery estimates have already begun to be carried over to October for some models.
