If your PC with Windows 11 has Internet connection (via Ethernet, cellular modem, Wi-Fi), you can share this connection as a mobile hotspot, wirelessly via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. See below how you can share your connection with other devices.
First, open them Settings of Windows by pressing Windows + i on your keyboard or by clicking on the menu Inception. Find the "Settings".
After opening the Settings, click on “Network & Internet“. Then click on “Mobile Hotspot”(Ignore the on / off switch for now).
In the Hotspot settings, you will find many options.
Before activating the "Mobile Hotspot", it is better to set its mode of operation. First, click on the drop-down menu labeled “Share my Internet connection“. Select it source from which you will share your connection. Some examples are “Ethernet" and "Wi-Fi".
Then click on the menu labeled “Share Over”And select it method that you want to use to share the connection with other devices. Usually, you can select “Wi-Fi"Or"Bluetooth".
In unit "Properties”At the bottom, click on“Processing”And a window will appear“Processing network information“. Using this window, you can set the network name, password that users will use to connect to your hotspot and Network Band (2.4 GHz, 5 GHz or "Any Available"), when sharing via Wi-Fi. When you have completed the configuration, click on “Storage".
Finally, go back to the top of the window with the settings for Mobile Hotspot and Click on the "switch" to activate the Hotspot.
After that, other devices will be able to connect to the internet using your connection.
If you change your mind, you can simply go back to Windows 11 Settings and turn off Mobile Hotspot.
Windows 11: Connect other devices to Mobile Hotspot
The connection to the new mobile hotspot at Windows 11 is easy, especially if you use Wi-Fi. Turn on your device's Wi-Fi and connect to the network with the name you specified in the section above. When logging in, enter the password and log in. In a similar way, you can connect via Bluetooth.
