Samsung will hold the next big Galaxy Unpacked event on August 11th. During the event, the company will unveil the Galaxy Z Fold 3, Galaxy Z Flip 3, Galaxy S21 FE, Galaxy Watch 4 series and Galaxy Buds 2. While some fans believed that Samsung could release the next Galaxy Note at the event, the company has now confirmed that it will not release the Galaxy Note 21 series next month.
In a recent post, Samsung outlined some of the products you can expect to see at the upcoming event. The company has confirmed that it will launch the "third generation of folding devices". The post mentions an upcoming Galaxy Z Fold and Galaxy Z Flip, confirming that Samsung will update both products. In addition, the company has revealed that it is working with more application partners to offer an optimized experience in its new foldables.
In addition, Samsung has revealed that the upcoming Z Fold "offers completely new ways of working, connecting and creating", while the next Z Flip comes with "more durable, stronger materials." In addition, Samsung confirmed that its first S Pen "designed specifically for foldable phones" will be released at the event. Along with the foldable phones, Samsung also mentioned the new Galaxy Watch that is running Wear OS 3 with the One UI Watch at the top of the post.
Finally, Samsung confirmed that it will not unveil a new Galaxy Note "this time". However, the suspension is quite vague so Samsung could launch the new Galaxy Note 21 series at another event later this year. However, this seems rather unlikely at this point. It is worth noting that, according to previous reports, Samsung is still planning to release new devices in the Note series. However, the devices may be delayed until next year due to a lack of chips.
