Sometimes we want to export images from our PDF files. There are two different methods for Windows 10 and Mac.
An easy and free way to extract images from a PDF file is the application Adobe Acrobat Reader DC. With this application, you can not only open a PDF, but also export its multimedia content. This way, you can save selected images from the PDF file to a folder on your computer.
If you have not already done so, download and install the free Acrobat Reader DC application for Windows 10 or Mac. Then open the PDF with this application.
When Acrobat Reader opens, click the selection tool (an arrow icon) on the toolbar near the top of the window. You will use this tool to select images in your PDF.
Then go to the PDF page where the image you want to export is located. Click on the image to select it.
Then right-click on the image and select “Picture copyFrom the menu.
The selected image is copied to your clipboard. You can now paste this image into any image editor on your computer.
If you are a Windows user, open the application Paint and press Ctrl + V to paste the image. Then click on File> Save in the Paint menu bar to save the image.
On a Mac, open the application Preview and select Archive> New by Clipboard from the menu bar. Then click on File> Save to save the image.
The saved image file works just like any other image on your computer. You can add it to your documents, upload it to websites and more.
Photoshop also offers a custom ability to import the contents of a PDF file. With it, you can upload the PDF and extract all the images from it.
To use this method, first open Photoshop in Windows 10 or Mac. In Photoshop, click File> Open in the menu bar and browse to open the PDF file from which you want to export images.
The window will open "Import PDF”Of Photoshop. In this window, select the radio button “Pictures”At the top to see all PDF images.
Photoshop will display all the images in your PDF files. Click the image you want to export. To select multiple images, press and hold Shift, and then click the images.
When you have selected the images, click on “OKAt the bottom of the window.
Photoshop will open each image in a new tab. To save all these images to a folder on your computer, select File> Close of all in the Photoshop menu bar.
Photoshop will ask if you want to save the changes to your images. In this message, select the “Application in alla ”and then click on“Storage".
Then there is the standard window "Save as”Of Photoshop. Here, click on the "Save As" box and enter a name for your image. Then click on the drop-down menu “Form”And choose a format for your image. Finally, click on “StorageAt the bottom of the window. This step must be followed for each image.
As for the image format, if you are not sure what to choose, select “PNG", As it works in most cases.
