The latest update adds three new themes to the Messenger app to personalize your chatting experience. The first is for Olivia Rodrigo fans and is coming in time for the singer's new album called Sour. It also has Olivia face stickers. Meanwhile, the F9 theme celebrates the 20th anniversary of Fast and Furious. Finally, the third is the theme of World Oceans Day, which allows you to actually explore the world's oceans. Users can access these new themes in Messenger and Instagram from “Theme” under chat settings.

The new instant response bar will make it easy for Messenger users to respond quickly to multimedia content shared by their friends. When you open a photo or video sent by your friend, you'll see a new quick reply bar appear at the bottom, allowing you to send a reply directly from multimedia viewing without having to go back to the main chatting. You can swipe up to exit the media view and return to the chat.

Finally, Messenger also brings the new feature of QR codes and payment links, which will allow users to send and request money with Facebook Pay from anyone - even if they are not connected to Facebook. Users can access their staff QR code and the payment link in Messenger settings in the Facebook Pay option.

You can share the payment link or allow other people to scan the QR code to send or receive money. Currently, QR codes and payment links are only available to Messenger users on USA.
