Netflix is almost ready to release Kevin Smith's He-Man animated series, which is the revival everyone has been waiting for and includes the corresponding games.
The Masters of the Universe: Revelation will premiere on July 23 and offer a refreshed look that retains the style of the 1980s show, while providing a more "earthy and real" aesthetic. It's basically the order you have in mind from child.
Smith continues the story from where the original series was left, although it is not a simple sequel. It begins with an epic battle that leaves the Guardians of Grayskull scattered in the winds and the creators promise that characters like He-Man, Teela and Orko will change over time. In other words, the show has evolved a bit over the years.
The cast is unexpectedly well known. THE Chris Wood of Supergirl plays He-Man. Also the Sarah Michelle Gellar will play Teela, the Lena Headey of Game of Thrones Evil-Lyn and Mark Hamill Skeletor. In addition o Alan Oppenheimer, who played Skeletor and other characters in the first release of the series, returns as Moss Man.
Mattel action figures, expected on June 15, also reflect this combination of old and new. The basic designs of the Masterverse collection will be more than familiar if you played with the originals games as a child, but both will match the updated graphics. While their price is not yet available, there will be a "basic variety" of seven figures including He-Man, Skeletor, Moss Man and Evil-Lyn. A nine-inch Skelegod promises to be awesome and a 14-inch Ultimate Battle Cat will turn into a Cringer when you remove the armor.

It is not yet clear if the new series will be as successful as the older one. The She-Ra series did well on Netflix, laying the groundwork for a balance between respect for the original and a refreshed look. The movement of action figures can also help promote. Although Netflix has released figures in the past, they were usually released in response to an interesting series rather than its debut.
