When you want to set the timer on your iPhone or iPad, you can use the Clock app. But there is another quick way to set the timer on your device and you can see it below.
The Control centre on your iPhone or iPad, giving you instant access to many toggles and functions. By default, you can find a timer icon in Control Center on iPhone (but not on iPad). If you cannot find the timer button in Control Center, you can add it using the Settings app.
First, open the “SettingsOn your iPhone or iPad.
Then press “Control centre”And then scroll down and press the plus (“ + ”) button next to“Timer“. This will add the timer button to the bottom of the Control Center.
If you want to change the order of the Control Center icons, tap and drag the Menu icon next to them.
Now that the Timer control has been added to Control Center, it's time to use it.
On iPhone or iPad, swipe down from the top right corner of the screen to open the Control Center. If you are using an older iPhone, swipe up from the bottom of the screen.
Now, press and hold the timer button.
You will see a pop-up window with a vertical timer covering it screen. Using your finger, you can swipe up and down to set a time interval. This pop-up window does not allow you to set custom timers. You can only select intervals between 1-4 minutes, 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 15 minutes, 20 minutes, 30 minutes, 45 minutes, 1 hour or 2 hours.
After selecting the time you want, press the “Inception".
As the timer counts down, you will see the rest of the time at the top of the screen.
If you want to leave the screen, tap the blur area around the slider and the timer will continue to run in the background. If you want to return, open the Control Center again and press and hold the moving yellow timer.
If you want, you can stop the timer by pressing the “Pause".
Then press “ContinuationTo start again. When the countdown is over, you can define another one using the same method.
