Microsoft has announced that the Windows 10 May 2021 (21H1) update is complete and ready for release.
Brandon LeBlanc, senior program manager for Windows Insider, says Microsoft believes build 19043.928 is the final build for the May 2021 update.
Windows Insiders on "Beta" and "Release" channels have been testing this version since April 13.
Although Microsoft has not provided a specific date for the release of the May 2021 update, it is likely that it will be released as an optional update in the upcoming updates. Patch Tuesday of May 2021.
Like other new Windows 10 feature updates, the May 2021 Update will likely be offered first to "seekers" who manually perform "Check for Updates" on the Windows Update settings screen.
Over time, Windows 10 21H1 will be available to more and more people to increase testing and provide Microsoft with more diagnostics.
This approach allows Microsoft to detect and correct errors before affecting many Windows 10 users.
For users who want to try the May 2021 update on a clean install of Windows 10, Microsoft has also released a Windows 10 19043.928 ISO. Unfortunately, Windows 10 21H1 is not a very exciting version and the new features are aimed mainly at "business owners".
