According to an announcement by Apple, the company has released an M1-powered update for the iPad Pro. And it seems that Logitech did not waste any time, after announcing in turn a new keyboard and trackpad accessories for the two models iPad Pro 11 and 12,9 inches.
The keyboard, called the Combo Touch, is a Microsoft Surface-based desktop case and a detachable backlit keyboard with a trackpad. Connects via the Smart Connector available on iPad Pro models.
Logitech has already released a similar Combo Touch keyboard for 10,2 and 10,5 inch iPads, as well as a Folio Touch for the 11-inch iPad Pro and the 10,9-inch iPad Air. The Folio Touch keyboard is not detachable and its trackpad is slightly smaller than the new Combo Touch, but otherwise it is a comparable product.

This is the first time Logitech has offered a 12,9-inch keyboard / trackpad option for the iPad Pro and it is significantly cheaper than the Magic Keyboard offered by Apple. The keyboard for the 11-inch model is priced at $ 199,99 and for the 12,9-inch model is priced at $ 229,99. The corresponding keyboard prices offered by Apple for both models are $ 299 and $ 349, which means that you can save about $ 100 or more so that you do not go out of budget too much.
It is also very likely that most users will prefer the design offered by Logitech. It may not be as sleek as the Magic Keyboard, but the Combo Touch will offer better protection for the iPad, while better detachment and greater stability offer an extra degree of flexibility. In addition, the keyboard offers a wide range of useful functions.
The keyboard for the 11-inch model is available for pre-order now, while the version for the 12,9-inch model is said to be "available soon."
