Samsung has announced a new Galaxy Unpacked virtual event that will take place on April 28 and will reveal the "most powerful Galaxy device", which will most likely be a laptop and not a smartphone.
The next Galaxy phones are not expected to appear soon. According to a report by The Elec, the company is going to release the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 2 at an event in July. Samsung has previously said it may skip launching a new Galaxy Note device this year due to global shortage of semiconductors.
However, Samsung laptops have not received an update and according to reliable leaker Evan Blass the company could launch 11th generation Intel Tiger Lake laptops before the Galaxy Book Pro series. The chips Intel Includes built-in Xe graphics, support for Thunderbolt 4, USB 4, PCIe Gen 4 and WiFi 6.
Rumors and recently unveiled Korean certifications also show new Galaxy Book Pro and Galaxy Book Pro 360 models running Microsoft Windows.
The laptops are expected to feature almost 13,3-inch and 15,6-inch OLED screens without bezels, while the latest model is expected to feature a 360-degree hinge because of its name, and possibly 5G connectivity.
