Which apps collect the most data from users?

Social media is among the apps that collect the most personal data from users.

Instagram is currently the mobile app that collects the most personal data from its users. The social network has been found to share 79% of the personal data provided by the user, compared to 57% for Facebook and 50% for LinkedIn and Uber Eats.

While the collection of personal data - be it a name, address, email or phone number - has long been a problem that the public did not understand or did not know, it is now a source of concern for many internet users.
