Xiaomi will release the long-awaited Redmi Note 10 series in India later this week. Like the Redmi Note 9 series, the new series will include a variety of devices, from the vanilla model Redmi Note 10 to the Redmi Note 10 Pro Max. In recent months, there have been many leaks about upcoming devices - the design and specifications their. However, Xiaomi had not disclosed the official information regarding the devices.
Xiaomi India CEO Manu Kumar Jain recently announced on Twitter that the Redmi Note series is finally making the leap to AMOLED panels with the upcoming Redmi Note 10 series.
The tweet also includes a short clip showing the results of a poll conducted by Xiaomi on Twitter earlier in the year. The poll asked users to choose between a 120Hz LCD panel and a standard AMOLED panel. As one would expect, the vast majority of users chose AMOLED over the LCD screen with high refresh rate. Although Xiaomi deleted the poll, it seems that the company decided the majority wants to go with that. In the video, the company clarifies that the Redmi Note 10 series will not include any panels OLED, but a Super AMOLED panel.
As of now, it is not clear if any of the devices in the series will receive a "high refresh rate panel". However, based on previous leaks, we suspect that the top Redmi Note 10 Pro Max may includes a Super AMOLED 120Hz panel. If so, the Redmi Note 10 Pro Max will definitely dominate the market smartphone finance the 2021.
In case you missed the previous coverage of the Redmi Note 10 series, the leaks suggest that the Redmi Note 10 Pro will be a 4G device, which will run MIUI 12. It will have a 120Hz panel with MEMC technology and a quad-camera installation on the back . It will have a large 5.050 mAh battery and will is based on on its SM7150 platform Qualcomm (Snapdragon 732G).
Leaks about the Vanilla Redmi Note 10, on the other hand, suggest that it will feature a 6,53-inch FHD + display, a huge 5.900 mAh battery, an unspecified octa-core processor clocked at 2GHz, up to 8 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB storage space. It will also include a triple fingerprint scanner camera setup at the back and a 3,5 mm headphone jack.
