The leading dairy company "Lactalis" revealed that it suffered a cyber attack, during which unknown threatening agents violated some of the systems of. Lactalis has 85.000 employees in 51 countries and exports dairy products to more than 100 countries worldwide. In addition, it controls many leading international brands, including Président, Galbani, Lactel, Santal and Parmalat.
In a press release published on 26 February, Lactalis stated that in the context of this attack only a limited number were violated computers in its network. We have proactively restricted our access to the public internet network and are working to carry out all our activities under normal conditions. The findings of the investigations carried out showed that a malicious agent is trying to enter the servers us. Our IT team has been fully mobilized in response to this tragic incident, with the support of experts in the field of cyber security.
