Microsoft Edge: How to uninstall / remove extensions

On the tab “Extensions”, you will see a list of each extension of the Edge you have installed. Locate the entry for the extension you want to remove or uninstall.

If you want to temporarily disable the extension, turn the switch next to it.

However, if you want to re-enable the extension at some point, you just need to go back to the tab “Extensions” and turn the switch off "Off" in place “On”.

Also, if you want to permanently remove an extension, click the button "Abolition" located just below description of expansion.

After clicking the button "Abolition", a pop-up will appear window confirmation. Click again "Abolition".

Thus, the extension will be completely removed and a pop-up will appear message who will write "Extension removed". You can either ignore it or discard it with the button "X".

Alternatively, you can quickly remove an extension from Edge if you see it icon its on the line tools. Right click on the icon and select "Remove from Microsoft Edge" from the emerging menu.

Then click the button "Abolition" in the pop-up confirmation and the extension will be uninstalled.

If you need to reinstall the extension, you will need to visit the category “Edge Extensions” on Microsoft Store, in which you can also obtain access via the tab “Extensions”.
