Find the sum of squares in multiple cells
Start a new column anywhere in an Excel spreadsheet and highlight it. Here we will calculate the sum of the squares. The squares do not need to be next to each other, nor the output section - they can be anywhere on the page.
Enter the following formula in the first cell in the new column:
Click the square and scroll down to the last row of number pairs to automatically add the sum of the remaining squares.
