If notifications from an app bother you, you can use the Notification Center on your Mac to turn off notifications for any application, immediately after receiving a notification.
How will you do it?
You can turn off notifications for an application from notice. This works when you see an alert banner or an alert in the upper right corner of your screen.
When you see a notification, right-click and select “Deactivation“. Your Mac will immediately stop notifications from this app.
Alternatively, you can use the Notification Center to do this. Click the date and time from the menu bar to display the Notification Center.
Here, you will see notifications from installed applications. Notifications are grouped by applications.
Right-click on an alert and select “Deactivation”To turn off notifications for this application.
Enable app notifications from system preferences.
If you change your mind, you can turn on notifications for an application from System Preferences. Click on the icon Apple from the menu bar and click on "System Preferences".
Here, go to the section "Notifications“. From the sidebar, select the application for which you want to enable notifications. Then click on the switch next to "Allow alerts”To activate notifications for the application.
