Each time you connect one device via Bluetooth on a phone or tablet Android, the device model name is what appears on your screen. While this is a good ID for the device, it may not always be that easy to use. However it is possible to change this name.
The process of changing the Bluetooth name is simple, but may vary depending on the Android device that you use. In general, you will need to go to the section "Connected devicesOf the menu “Settings".
First slide the top of the screen down once or twice and tap the gear icon to open the Settings menu.
Then click "Connected Devices" from the list.
Here things can be a little different, depending on the manufacturer of your phone or tablet. In some Appliances, you will see "Connection preferences"While in others you will see the option"Bluetooth".
If you select "Connection Preferences", you will see after "Bluetooth".
Your device name will appear in the Bluetooth settings. On some devices, you can simply tap the name to change it, while others will require you to open the three-dot menu.
Enter a new device name and then click "Rename" or "Save". That's it. Now, when you try to connect to your Android device, this is the name you will see. If there are several identical devices in home changing the name can make it easier to find the right one.
