Discord is great for keeping in touch with your friends, but that does not mean that every message you send is for everyone. Fortunately, you can use spoiler tags to hide some messages.
Add Spoiler Tags to Discord Text Messages
There are several ways you can add spoiler tags to text messages you send to a Discord server. You can follow the steps below on any platform, including applications for mobiles for Android, iPhone or iPad.
To add a spoiler tag to a message text, type “/ spoiler” at the beginning of a message. Sending "/ spoiler this is a spoiler message" to a Discord server will hide it message until the recipients decide to see it.
Add Spoiler Tags to images or attachments
You can also add spoiler tags to images or others attachments that you send to a Discord server. The above methods will not work for this type content, but you can mark files and images as spoilers before uploading them.
To do this in the Discord desktop application or on site, drag and drop your file into the server chat or click the plus sign (+) next to the chat bar.
A will appear preview of your attachment before it is sent to chat.
Select the "Mark as Spoiler" check box to hide the image or file after uploading, and then click "Upload."
Once uploaded, the image or file will appear in Discord behind the spoiler tags. You can press "Spoiler" to ignore the spoiler view and check out the file.
This removes the spoiler tag and displays the image or file as usual.
