The initiative Her #GrowYourBusiness COSMOTE, stood out by winning two gold awards in the categories "Training and Technical Support" and "Digital Transformation Enabler". #GrowYourBusiness is a series of free seminars and workshops throughout Greece for small and medium-sized enterprises, through which more than 4.000 entrepreneurs were trained in the trends of the new digital age and received inspiration and ideas to grow.
They also won a gold award in the "New Innovative Product" category interactive Virtual Reality training platform, created by COSMOTE for its Sales Team Coke Three Epsilon, where through a mobile, desktop and VR application the employees are trained in scenarios of activation of new stores, but also the application COSMOTE hoteliga for the management of hotels and their reservations via cloud, in the category "Specialized Applications". A gold award was also awarded to the OTE Group and the Holy Community of Mount Athos, in the category "Large-Scale IT Projects", for its work "Athonite Digital Ark", concerning the digitization and promotion of the cultural wealth of the Holy Monasteries of Mount Athos. In the "Network & Communications" category, the gold award was given to COSMOTE in collaboration with Space for its redesign data and voice network of stores and the buildings of the National Bank, while the silver to the OTE Group for modernization of telephone systems of the TITAN Group. Finally, a bronze award was given to the OTE Group and Datasite in the category "SaaS service provider" for the implementation of a sensitive data management application sales.
The BITE Awards, which highlight the best practices of Informatics and Communications of Greek companies, are organized for the ninth year by Netweek magazine of Boussias Communications and the E-Commerce & Business Laboratory ELTRUN of the Athens University of Economics and Business, under the auspices of SEPE. The evaluation of the candidatures was done by a jury, consisting of professionals in the field and University professors.
