During a Windows Insider webcast, Microsoft talked about its vision for a new Start menu in Windows 10.
Microsoft has said it will bring the new Start menu to devices running Windows 20 2H10, which is expected to be released in October or November.
The Start menu does not receive dramatic changes to design, but some are quite interesting.
At the moment, we have tiles of the "Start Menu" with a colored background, as shown in the screenshot below.
With the 20H2 version of Windows 10, Microsoft says it will remove its color systemic behind the tiles and will make your live tiles translucent with effect blur and the tiles will eventually match the light or dark mode.
According to Microsoft, this will "visually unify the Start menu from the somewhat chaotic color to something more uniform".
It is a small refresh in the design, but the menu looks better and more integrated, thanks to the emphasis on the new icon designs.
