Google Fi Bug: Users receive zero cost accounts

The average monthly cost of MVNO (Mobile virtual network operator) of Google called Google Fi ranges from $ 30 to $ 80 or $ 70 for the unlimited package. Some subscribers received a zero cost ($ 0) Google Fi account this month which is clearly a bug.

Google sent an email to the affected customers, acknowledging the error as a "technical problem" and apologizing. Those who received a Google Fi account stating that their monthly charge is $ 0, the actual amount will be charged next month.

"We would like to apologize for the mistake we made in your last account, in which you were not charged for the Fi service due to a technical issue on our part. We would like to inform you that we will include the amount you will have to pay in your next bill in addition to your respective charges for the next month. We are sorry for the inconvenience."

There have been several reports to Google today from Google Fi users who opened their monthly account email and found that the total amount payment is $ 0 and that “no amount will be charged to him month».

However, the app quickly reveals how wrong it is, as "last month's data" is also reported to be zero (0 GB).

As mentioned above, many users have contacted Google, so support representatives are aware of problem. We do not know more details about the bug except that it is of a technical nature as stated by company.
