One of the largest domain registrars in the world, Namecheap is facing a series of mysterious downtime and it is not clear why.
The company that has more than 11 million registered users and 10 million domains offers domain registration, hosting, private email services and TLS / SSL certificates and has become one of the most recognizable brands in industry.
User reports: I noticed the problem from 2:00 a.m. ET (7:00 am UK time) as I was trying to see my website via my smartphone and I could not. Maybe the bad WiFi is to blame, I thought at first. Then I assumed it could be a case of scheduled maintenance.
