If it is Android phone you do not have much space, you will need to make one liquidation so you can save news archives, photos etc. H Files application by Google has an easy-to-use tool to facilitate this process.
Google Files are pre-installed on some phones Android, but you can also download it from Play Store. This is a useful one tool, as in addition to file management, it also includes clearing function. Identifies things that can be removed from your phone to free up storage space.
To get started, download and install Files by Google on your Android phone or tablet.
To allow the "Files" application to access your files, click "Allow" in the pop-up window.
This way, you can start freeing up storage space. Click "Clear" at the bottom.
At the top of the page, you can see how much storage space you are using. Below, Google will automatically suggest files that you can delete to free up space. Common examples are screenshots, duplicate files and photos for which they have already been created copies security in Google Photos.
Each of the following categories will have one of three possible buttons that perform slightly different actions:
- "Confirmation and release (X) MB“: Where (X) is the size of the space. Tap this to open a pop-up window and make an immediate cleanup without first checking the files.
- "Selection and release (X) MB“: Where (X) is the size of the space. Tap this to go directly to the review screen, where you can select them archives that you want to remove.
- "Release (X) MB“: Where (X) is the size of the space. This action is specific to Google Photos. Google will suggest removing duplicate photos security. Tap this option to go to the Google Photos app, where you can choose to free up space.
In the following example (image) is clicked "Select and release (X) MB" from the category we want to clean.
A list of files that Google recommends for clearing appears. In the "Duplicate Files" category, the original files are presented with a bookmark icon in the lower left corner.
Select all the files you want to remove and click "Delete".
If you select original files in the "Duplicate Files" category, you will be asked to confirm your selection. Click "Continue" to pause.
You will be asked once again to confirm your choices. Click "Delete" to permanently remove files.
If you want to free up space immediately, click "Confirm and release (X) MB" (where "X" is the space). This way, you do not select the files to be deleted.
Click "Clear" to remove the files without checking them.
To check the files before removing them, click "Show junk files".
Select all the items you want to remove (or tap "All Items" at the top of the screen) and then tap "Clear".
A pop-up will ask you to confirm your selection. Click "Clear" to continue.
You can repeat the same steps for any of the categories in which you want to free up space.
