Η Xiaomi also plans to implement the back tap function on Appliances according to the code identified by one of its members XDA Kacskrz in the latest beta versions of MIUI 12. The feature is under development, but appears to be similar to iOS 14's "back tap" feature.

At the moment, the list of shortcuts includes taking a screenshot, activating the lens, opening the control center, opening the notification shade, and launching the camera. Of course, it is very likely that Xiaomi will add more shortcuts, since the feature is still in beta.

How to get iOS 14 Back Tap on any Android device?

A developer by name Kieron Quinn managed to transfer the Back Tap function through one of its own application, called "Tap, tap. "

Its application, which is still in beta, brings the feature to all Android devices with Android 7.0 or later. Uses built-in accelerometer and gyroscope sensors and machine learning to detect double stroke on the back of the device.

  • First download and install the "Tap, Tap" application from here.
  • Go to the accessibility settings, tap on most download services and switch the accessibility service to “Tap, Tap”.
  • In the application, go to the "Actions" section to select the action for double-clicking.
  • Go to "Gates" to block gestures in situations such as when you make a call or when the screen is off.

Quinn plans to add more features, such as enabling users to define the sensitivity of the double-tap function. Triple-click is not yet available in its application.
