The United States, the United Kingdom, India and Germany have experienced many "significant" cyber-attacks over the past 14 years, according to a new report released this week by Swedish Specops Software.
The company analyzed data from the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) to find out which countries have experienced the most "significant" cyberattacks, defined as attacks on "government agencies of a country, defense and high companies technology or financial crimes with losses equivalent to more than one million dollars ”.
According to the findings, the US has experienced the most significant number so far attacks in cyberspace, a total of 156 between May 2006 and June 2020. The report noted that 2018 marked the "worst year" for attacks in cyberspace with only 30 incidents occurring during the year.
