The NuTyX 11.5 Linux has been released with new features and improvements!

If you've ever considered setting up your own Linux-based operating system, you'll know the Linux from scratch (LFS) project. This is one of the best guides that teaches you how to create your own custom system Linux from sources. The NuTyX is a complete distribution GNU / Linux inspired by LFS and BLFS (Beyond LFS), which gives you full control of your operating system. NuTyX's development team released the new one version NuTyX 11.5, which contains small improvements and new features. At this point it is useful to mention the new features and improvements included in the new NuTyX 11.5.

NuTyX is based on some unique ideas such as "Collections" and "Groups" that provide high flexibility. Another new feature of NuTyX is the custom package manager called "Cards" which is available in NuTyX 11.5 with the latest version 2.4.115. Using the package manager, you can install individual binaries or a group of binaries. Among the packages desktop, NuTyX now offers upgraded dual-user graphics interfaces, such as MATE 1.24.0, Xfce 4.14.1 and KDE Plasma 5.18.5. In addition, the latest version of NuTyX 11.5 has long-term support (LTS) core Linux 4.19.123 for its basic 64-bit system. The NuTyX 11.5 also continues to grow 32-bit version with a core of 4.9.224. Additionally, the "kernel-419" package in NuTyX replaces the "kernel-lts" package. It now includes four versions of the LTS kernel along with the latest fixed kernel, such as the 4.9, 4.14, 4.19, 5.4 and 5.6 kernels.

In addition, VirtualBox and NVIDIA graphics card drivers and utilities are now available for all five versions of the kernel and are now coming to NuTyX applications. Here is a list of core and desktop software with their updated version:

How to download, install or upgrade NuTyX 11.5?
If you are already a NuTyX user, you can run only one mandate to upgrade your system with the latest version: “sudo cards upgrade”.
