European authorities have arrested members of the InfinityBlack hacking team

Η Europol announced today that the Polish and Swiss authorities law enforcement "Dissolved" the hacking team InfinityBlack, since arrested five of its members in Poland last week.

This criminal group was involved in the distribution of hundreds of millions of stolen items credentials (through the InfinityBlack market), in creation and malware distribution and tool hacking, as well as in various scams.

The Polish National Police (Policja) also proceeded confiscation of their electronic equipment hackers, of external hard drives and many cryptocurrency Wallets, worth about € 100.000.

As part of this operation, law enforcement authorities cooperated with them Eurojust and Europol and "downloaded" two online platforms with stolen bases data with credentials.

The InfinityBlack gang was organized in project development, testing and management teams. This allowed the various team members to focus on different parts of the "business" without having to deal with the whole process.

The main source of revenue for hackers came from the sale of stolen credentials to other hacking groups.
