Apple: Gives medical face shields for COVID-19!

At the moment, Apple CEO Tim Cook, constantly makes announcements about the efforts made by o technological giant to support those working in healthcare facilities during pandemic of COVID-19. In a new one video published in Twitter Today, Cook announced that Apple has donated more than 20 million masks to those working in healthcare facilities, and is willing to do even more to help fight the virus. A few days ago, Cook said the company had donated $ 10 million masks and now that number has risen to 20 million. These masks come from Apple's supply chain. However, Apple has not only focused on this, but has also designed medical face shields, wanting to show its support for doctors. The first medical face shields were delivered to the hospital last week Emperor in Santa Clara, California, provoking a positive reaction from doctors. Apple hopes to deliver 1 million medical face shields by the end of this week and another 1 million next week in facilities where there is a greater need.

Tim Cook also noted that Apple is organizing a large-scale operation in which product designers, packaging teams and suppliers company they will work together to design, produce and send face shields to them doctors of health facilities. Each package sent includes 100 medical face shields. Each shield is assembled in less than two minutes and is adjustable.

The tech giant is working with doctors and government officials on all of them USA, to ship medical face shields where there is a greater need, hoping the distribution will expand quickly beyond the US. Finally, Cook recommends that all "social distance" measures imposed by governments be followed in an effort to limit the spread of COVID-19.
