A large number of companies have announced their participation in the International Conference Mobile Telephony for 2020 in Barcelona. However, while Nubia had originally planned to officially present the Red Magic 5G at the conference, it eventually postponed its plan but did not specify when exactly it intended to present it. However, details of the design of the gaming smartphone have been released by the Chinese TENAA certification service, while GameBench allows for more details about the device.
Some things about the Red Magic 5G were already known. However, Nubia went into more detail about it device. Nubia has also confirmed that the device will be powered by a processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC. GameBench has confirmed some of these specifications by notifying them post on blog of. The key features of the Red Magic 5G are the following:

The design of the Red Magic 5G is largely based on the same logic as a gaming phone. The back of the device features a distinctive "X" motif with a red bright Red Magic logo in the middle. The frame is metallic blue with a red button on it. Also this smartphone it will have an air-cooling system to prevent the device from overheating during charging. GameBench reports that the device offers 5 hours of gaming, with only one charge while playing Real Racing 3 at 144fps. This is due to the large 5.000 mAh battery.
GameBench tested a version of the Red Magic 5G before the official release was released and recorded a median 144fps frame rate with Real Racing 3, winning the Ultra-144. GameBench also tested on PUBG Mobile and the Arena of Valor, despite being Chinese versions of both games. PUBG Mobile and Arena of Valor do not yet support 144fps, but they perform very well on Red Magic 5G. At PUBG Mobile, GameBench recorded a 90fps median frame rate while at the Arena of Valor, it recorded a 60fps average frame rate which for the Arena of Valor case, 60fps was perfect.
