Google for Microsoft Edge users: "Choose Chrome for greater security"

The war between technological Companies about them browsers, began to "flare" again, as so Google As well as the Microsoft trying to promote it software at the expense of their competitors. A typical example of this tactic is the new one notification displayed on Google's Chrome Web Store. The notice urges them users of Microsoft Edge to leave it and go to Google Chrome.

A few days ago, Microsoft did something similar. It started displaying alerts in their main menu Windows 10. Alerts reported that its users Firefox need to start using the Microsoft Edge browser.

Companies are trying to hit each other. As we said above, the Chrome Web Store now tells users that they should abandon the Microsoft browser and prefer the Chrome browser. Google is trying to convince users by saying this change is necessary if they want to have real safety.

In accordance with WindowsLatest, when Microsoft Edge users visit the Chrome Web Store, Google displays a notification that says: "Google recommends going to Chrome to use the extensions with safety".

It also includes a link that allows users to download the Google browser immediately.

The notification only appears to users of Microsoft Edge. If a user uses Google's browser to visit the store, they won't see this notification.

Both browsers are based on Chromium. This means that the Chrome Web Store displays the notification based on the browser user agent or some other identification feature.

Meanwhile, Chrome browser extensions work well on Microsoft Edge. Therefore, we do not know why Google considers it its own program browsing is more secure than extensions.
