A new MIUI 11 feature will alert you when applications are tracking your personal data

Top search engines and browsers to protect your data

It is often the case that application developers violate the privacy of users by requesting access to data that has nothing to do with the operation of the application. Now h Google is trying to put an end to this practice by tightening the rules on applications in Play Store. The latest version Android also introduced a security feature that allows users to provide temporary access GPS in applications when they are open.

MIUI 11 by Xiaomi however it seems to go a step further. As it says XDA, MIUI 11 is testing a new feature, where it records the behavior of one application on the handling of sensitive licenses.

The latest feature of MIUI 11 is known as "App Behavior Records" and it mainly does two things: it first records the behavior of the application. For example, when the application launches automatically or causes other applications to start up.

Second, it records the sensitive actions used by applications. These actions on the new Xiaomi operating system include background audio recording, making a phone call, accessing call history, contacts, location, text messages, files, and more.

The users will be able to control whether they need to be notified when a particular application has access to rights or to interfere with sensitive actions. The feature is currently under trial, so we can't guarantee it will be released in future versions of MIUI 11.

However, the security feature would certainly help prevent application developers from tracking user data, while at the same time adding even more to MIUI 11 exclusivity.
