1: Open the App Store. Tap the App Store app icon, which looks like a white "A" on a blue background.
2: Press “Search”. It is a magnifying glass image in the lower right corner of the screen.
On some iPads, “Search” is a bar in the upper right corner of the screen. If so, tap on the search bar and skip the next step.
3: Tap the search bar. This is at the top of the screen. Touching it will bring up the keyboard of your iPhone or iPad.
In 4: Enter the name or function of the applications. If you have a specific application in mind, enter its name. otherwise, type in a keyword or phrase that will help you find an application that fits your needs.
For example, if you are looking for a drawing application, you can type draw or paint.
5: Press “Search”. This button is located on the keyboard. Then, the App Store will search for the word or phrase you entered and a list of relevant applications will appear.
6: Select an application. Scroll through the list until you find the application you want, then tap the title of the application to open its page.
7: Press “Get”. It's a blue button on the right side of the page.
8: Enter your "Touch ID" when prompted. If you have enabled the Touch ID for the App Store immediately after scanning your ID, the app will start downloading to your iPhone or iPad.
If you do not have the option enabled touch ID for the App Store or your iPhone / iPad does not support it, enter the Apple ID password, and then tap Install when prompted.
9: Wait for the application to download. As you download the app, you'll see a box with a progress circle that appears on the right side of the screen. Once the cycle is complete, the download has ended successfully.
Note: You can stop downloading the app by tapping the square icon.
10: Press “OPEN”. This is at the same point as the GET button. This will open the application.
You can also open your app by tapping on the icon on the iPhone or iPad Home screen.
