As she said in a post last year, her New York PostThe Amazon intended to create a new technology that would use the features in their hands users, to make purchases. However, the Wall Street Journal recently reported that these control terminals would be installed in all business shops that operate conventionally.
The new technology that Amazon is working on is going to change the way they are made markets, since consumers will now be able to use their hands to pay. The exact procedure to follow is not known yet.
According to the report, this operation can be carried out through terminals, where customers can link their credit information card with their palms. So customers will no longer have to use their credit cards to make payments at that store.
All customers will need to do is place their card in the slot on the terminals and then place their hand. The terminal will scan both the card and the client's hand and then link them together. THE technology will be able to recognize lines and even veins in a consumer's hand.
Also, each customer's scanned data will be stored in the Amazon cloud. Thus, the same data can be combined with each customer's purchase on Amazon.com.
These payment terminals might seem particularly handy for stores with "many repeat transactions with their customers".
According to sources, Amazon is already in talks with JPMorgan Chase & Co., Wells Fargo & Co. and Synchrony Financial to acquire all of this technology.
