The first AR contact lenses were released by Silicon Valley

A new start up company, based in Silicon Valley and is called Mojo Vision, has created the world's first AR contact lenses that will give the user the augmented reality experience.

Before creating the lenses, the company had filed about 100 patents while still doing research on contact lenses. He now seems to have found a plan he has come up with. However, for the time being, Mojo Vision does not intend to release the lenses on a large scale.

According to the company, the lenses will be the smallest possible, with the highest screen density, at 14.000 pixels per inch. One of their most important features, of course, will be that no one will be able to stand out if someone wears them.

The Augmented Reality experience is guaranteed for users as they will be able to see the information displayed on screen even when they have their eyes closed.

Mojo Vision CEO Drew Perkins says the company's plans are to release the "invisible" computing"So that users can access information without distraction, as with other ARs Headsets.

In his statement, he also said that information that appear on the screen will be available and visible only when the user so wishes user. This means that as soon as the user turns their attention to the real world, the information disappears.

Of course, because contact lenses belong to medicinal products, it is necessary to obtain all the necessary certificates first from the US Food and Drug Administration. As has become known, the company has already begun doing the necessary clinical investigations to ensure that the lenses are safe for users' eyes. Mojo Vision does not seem to want to risk its ambitious dream of bringing the AR experience to the contact lenses it offers to customers her.
