Ever since it was released in September 2018, the graphics card GeForce RTX 2080 Ti is the most powerful GPU for Gaming that exists. However, a new addition recently discovered on the OpenVR benchmark takes the top places in its benchmarks. The new GPU, simply referred to as AMD Radeon "graphics device" scores 103,3 fps, compared to the 80 fps of the RTX 2080 Ti in the same test, making the new GPU 30% faster. Even the best performance of the RTX 2080 Ti is still 15% slower than the new graphics card.
But this mysterious GPU might not be a Radeon, but a next-gen card Nvidia;
Before we begin to speculate that the new graphics card is definitely its job AMD, we need to consider a few facts. Initially, the graphics card is combined with a mechanical sample of the Ryzen 7 4800H processor, which has its own GPU. A GPU that lists the software as AMD Radeon Graphics. This is not a clear title, so the software may have entered the correct name and it is really a new AMD GPU.
On the other hand, all the GPUs that had not yet been released by AMD had been registered as AMD Radeon RX in the past, so the most likely scenario is that the benchmark has simply registered the GPU as AMD.
The general view is that the GPU is tested with an uncompressed CPU AMD. But the question is why AMD would try such a powerful GPU with a portable CPU computer that will never be combined? Why should AMD double its chances of error by trying two engineering products together?
So far, however, Nvidia is one whose GPUs are constantly appearing on online benchmarks before their release.
Nvidia is much more likely to be in the final stages of such a powerful GPU. AMD has also sent many 4800H samples to its partners, and we already know that Asus is testing a Nvidia GPU.
All we can do for the moment, however, is wait and see what really works.
