Η Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has issued some rules these days remote identification of drones, used in USA. According to the FAA, the new rules are "the next exciting step for safe integration of drones“. It will be something like a license plate that will help detection of the 1,5 million drones used by the government body.
According to the Minister of Transport, the drones are the technology transport that is most developed in America.
"It is vital that they are safely integrated into the national airspace," the minister said.
The purpose of the rules is to provide more security in high areas risk such as airports and stadiums, but generally in the airspace.
"This is an important building block in the remote management ecosystem."
DJI says it is "reviewing" the proposal for drones, though it had set up its own remote authentication system two years ago (AeroScope). Technology has been able to help pilots, who fly very close to problem areas.
