Facebook has been malfunctioning for several minutes for several users.
There are many who complained that Facebook and Instagram suddenly stopped working. On the other hand, the WhatsApp, which belongs to the same company, does not appear to be affected by error.
A large number of people complained about the issue, according to tracking website Down Detector.
The bug seems to be a global event but - to our good luck - has not affected all users.
Many Facebook users said they were able to use the app but some important parts of its functionality were broken, such as sharing new posts.
The Messenger, which, as we all know, belongs to Facebook but may also exist as a separate application on your device, has also been affected by problems, with many users reporting that they cannot upload files to chat.
All three applications are considered to share much of the same underlying infrastructure, which means that problems in one of the services can affect the functionality of the other two.
It is worth noting that this summer all three apps were off for a whole day, causing problems in Internet and costing huge sums to the company.
For information, Facebook plans to merge the three platforms to have a common back-end, according to a statement. Mark Zuckerberg, which probably means that applications are even more likely to affect each other.
