Based on a user's personal report to one blog We have been informed that today the Ministry of Justice has announced that it has filed charges against the administrator and hundreds of users of the world's largest site of child sexual exploitation (child pornography).
In November of 2017, when the user was working on a news site, a group of hackers contacted him to tell him that they had broken into Dark web a massive one business sexual exploitation of children, called "Welcome to Video". The hackers they also discovered thousands IP people who have stated that they have linked to the website.
He goes on to point out that he had then spoken with his editor to approach this story in some way but because the case was under federal investigation, they did not want to jeopardize the effort.
Another problem that also existed was that there was no legal way to access the website to verify that it was what the hackers claimed.
The hackers gave him a username and password so he could enter and verify what they were saying. But again he couldn't get in as the website he was allowed to display child pornography images, and only federal agents were allowed to access illegal content. Although journalists had a great deal of flexibility and freedom, this was not one of them.
After a call with many lawyers, she decided that there was no legal way to write her story child pornography without verifying the contents of the website.
The story was dead, but the website wasn't.
So the decision he made was to report the story to the government, which was very odd for a journalist to work with national security, as they often face it. But such an event, which has to do with child exploitation, comes first and foremost.
He contacted the FBI and spoke to a specialist. They agreed to send him addresses IPs that were on the dark web containing the list of thousands of users.
But then, even after weeks, there was no development, not even by the federal agents.
The hackers themselves gave him some analysis of the IP sites. He discovered that there were users of the Army Intelligence Services USA, US Senate, US Air Force, Department of Veterans Affairs, AppleOf microsoftOf Google, Samsung and many universities around the world. However he could not identify specific individuals.
After about two years, he finally had an answer. Through the US Attorney's Office, they confirmed that the website had some 250.000 photos and videos of sexually abused children. THE government designated the site as the largest child pornography.
This morning, after they were there new website removal data, received the documents published on the website of the Ministry of Justice and found a screenshot of the website with the full address.
In all, there were 337 arrests, including a former Specialist for Global Security and a border patrol officer. Authorities rescued 23 children who were abused.
It was a race that eventually came out a winner, even after a long time.
