Microsoft: Windows 7 Extended Security Updates available for all businesses

From 1 December 2019, all businesses (small, medium and large) will be able to purchase Windows 7 Extended Security Updates if they want to maintain Windows 7 beyond 14 January 2020, which is the deadline for its free support product. SMEs will be able to purchase updates for up to three years from Cloud Solution Provider partners.

Prior to yesterday's announcement, we knew that extended Windows 7 updates would only be available to our customers. Windows 7 Professional and 7 Windows Enterprise, who had made special arrangements.

As we said above, the updates will be available for another three years, until January of 2023. Microsoft employees had announced this last fall. These updates will be patches and corrections, such as those offered by Microsoft It's free for users of Windows 7 now.

However, the prices of updates for Windows 7 will not be cheap, especially for businesses that want to install them on many computers. Microsoft said that the price of the Pro version of Windows would be higher than that of the Enterprise version. Enterprise Edition users will pay 25 dollars per device the first year and 100 dollars per device the third year. On the other hand, Pro version users will pay 50 dollars per device in the first year and 200 in the third year.
