1's Pan-Hellenic Open Robotics Competition

Ο 1 Panhellenic Competition Open Technologies Robotics is addressed to groups of students of Primary and Secondary Schools (Primary, High Schools, Lyceums and EPAL). The Robotics Competition aims to introduce hardware and software education that opens horizons, encourages students' creativity, does not put barriers to their ingenuity and initiative and does not promote products of specific companies to students and their families.Robotic Competition

Robotic Topics Competition

The competition concerns the creation of works (artifacts) using open hardware and software (Open Design, Open Software & Open Hardware), and the production of relevant open educational resources. Topics may include automation, lighting-sound, sensor-environment, smart objects, early warning devices, autonomous vehicles, wareables, leisure applications, health-wellness, laboratory equipment, educational projects and educational applications, and IoT applications. (e.g. Open source robotics, openrobothardware, etc.).

Phases of the Competition

1th Phase of the Contest - Design Phase
(31 October 2018 final submission date)
At this stage no construction is required, but the design and documentation of the idea in a group account at github. (see for information about git it http://git-class.gr/). The documentation, and the presentation of the construction steps, the detailed presentation of all the materials used for the project and the code should be uploaded to a corresponding repository at github and sent to robotics.ellak.gr together with the video that will present and will justify the project.
3 Phase - Evaluation Awards 12 best works (3 by category)
The organizing - scientific committee will select the 3 best projects per category (according to the evaluation criteria (total 12) (3 projects from Primary - 3 from High Schools - 3 from GEL - 3 from EPAL) which will be presented in the Open Technologies Robotics Competition to be held at the University of West Attica.

Participation in the Competition

In the competition they can participate groups of elementary and secondary school pupils.  At 1 phase of the Contest it must to submit the idea  and their documentation up to 31 / 10 / 2018.  At this stage no construction is required but the detailed description of the idea and the open material to be used.
