Apple today announced that it is launching a new one Independent Repair Provider Program, which will launch in the United States with independent repair shops offering genuine accessories, genuine spare parts, tools, training manuals and Apple Diagnostics.
The program will allow independent repair shops to offer out-of-warranty services for iPhone, such as screen replacement and battery, without any reference to warranty repairs. Apple has created a new page on its website where businesses can learn more and sign up.
To qualify, repair shops must be a legitimate business with verification documents available for Apple inspection, must be in a commercial area, and must have an Apple-certified technician to perform the repairs. iPhone except for warranty when using genuine accessories. There is no cost to participate in the program.
Apple also states that eligibility does not guarantee your acceptance into the program and reserves the right to reject any comments without comment.

"To better meet the needs of our customers, we make it easy for independent providers across the US to utilize their own resources with Apple's authorized provider network. When repair is required, the customer must have confidence in the correct repair. We believe that the safest and most reliable repair requires a trained person technical using genuine parts that have been properly manufactured and rigorously tested. "
Over the past year, Apple said it launched a pilot project with 20 independent repair companies in North America, Europe and Asia, which today offer genuine spare parts for repairs. OR Apple intends to extend the program to other countries over time.
