How to save photos from Instagram

Instagram is undoubtedly one of the most popular photo sharing apps in the world. Today it is not only used to share images and video, but is also used for news distribution and news markets. The app is full of photos - some we like, some we hate, some we laugh at and some want to save. But Instagram comes with a key limitation - you can't save images (or videos) from Instagram inherently.

Instagram

While Facebook's social messaging app offers its users a bookmarking functionality (remember the ribbon icon you see in every Instagram post), there's no way to just right-click and save an image. But fortunately there are some tricks you can use to save images from the app.

Here's how to save pictures to your smartphone:

- Tap the Profile icon in the application.

- Now tap on the hamburger menu in the upper right corner of the application.

- Click Settings in the bottom right corner of the application.

- Now click Account.

- In the menu bar that then opens, its users iOS touch Original Photos and users Android choose the Original Posts option.

- Now touch the button and you're good to go.

This will ensure that all the original posts you share from your Instagram account are saved to smartphone by default.

You can also save images using the web version of the app. But the point is that you might have to do it with code. If you don't mind doing this, then here's a trick for you to download images using your web browser:

- Open Instagram in its web browser desktop or your laptop.

- Now open the image you want to save.

- Tap on the three dots in the upper left corner of the image.

- Then click Go to Post.

- Right-click and click View Page Source.

- Now press Command + F and type '.jpg' in the search bar.

- Now go to the first '.jpg' symbol underlined in the code.

- Copy the code from 'https: // instagram.' To '.jpg' and paste it into a new tab.

- Now, right-click the image and click Save As to save it to your computer.
