Η Microsoft released a preview of Windows 10 build 18950 on Wednesday and confirmed that there will be a "Cloud Download" option to restore Windows and that Windows 10 users will soon see new features in the Snip & Sketch tool.
Snip and Sketch is included in the 1809 version onwards and allows users to take personalized screenshots or "snips" after clicking WIN + Shift + S. Users can then design or comment on the snips.
Snip & Sketch's three new features include a single window mode, zoom features and enhancements to help users discover the WIN + Shift + S shortcut.
Single window mode is designed to keep everything neat when users use the tool repeatedly to get the best snapshot screen.
Clicking on the "New" button in the lower left corner will now open new snips in the current application window to avoid closing multiple windows. However, there is an on-off switch to open snips in separate windows.
Now after downloading a snip, users can zoom in screenshots to be able to process them better. Zoom can be achieved with the Ctrl + Plus, Ctrl + Minus and Ctrl + mouse scrolls.
Microsoft is also looking to move on to the new "Cloud download" option that was leaked last week. In the new user interface, when Windows 10 is launched, users will be asked "How would you like to reinstall Windows?", Offering two options: "Cloud Download" or "Reset locally".
Microsoft is also adding fixes to Japanese IME, the package needed to import Japanese characters into Windows. Windows 10 20H1 is scheduled to arrive in the spring of 2020 after its release Windows 19H2 (1909), which Microsoft launched in July and will be available this fall.
