Google Photos and Google Drive: What's Changing for Our Good?

The truth is that we almost all want to capture the moments of our lives so that we can always store them in the form of a photo or video. Once we used to keep them stored in our cell phone until the time comes to transport them to the computer or a hard drive where we would leave them as long as these devices existed. Now, the way these files are stored is known to everyone Google Drive and Google Photos.

Unfortunately, although it is very easy to use each and every one of us, making access to our personal files really easy, their connection is confusing. So the Google has announced that action is being taken to improve the problems, in order to simplify the process.

Beginning in July, new photos and videos will be stored in Google Drive, they will not automatically appear fabout Google Photos. Similarly, neither the files stored in the Photos, will appear in Drive. The photos and videos you deletedoon Drive will not be automatically deleted from the Drive Photographs. And vice versa. This is a change that is designed to prevent accidental deletion of data.

A new feature called "Upload from Drive", came to give more detailed control when copying photos and videos, even of "Shared with me", from Google Drive at Google Photos. This feature allows you to select files from Drive to transfer to Photos. Since the two products will no longer be coordinated, as now, the files to be copied will be counted in the data limits within the services.

You will still be able to use his choice backup and sync to Windows ή MacOS to upload to both services in any quality.

Files already in a possible folder Google Photos at Drive will continue to exist, with no automatic renewal.

The goal of these changes is to make the process simpler and to eliminate the features that confuse users.
