VR Sickness: How to get rid of the feeling of nausea

VR Sickness: A very large percentage (25% with 40%) feels discomfort when using Virtual Reality technology.

The virtual reality illness (Virtual reality Sickness) occurs when exposure to a virtual environment causes symptoms similar to its symptoms Motion Sickness.

This happens when your eyes tell your brain that you are moving into a VR environment but your body feels like sitting in a chair or standing still.

In particular, you may experience symptoms such as general discomfort, nausea, disorientation, dizziness, headaches, sweating or all of the above. Even worse, these symptoms can continue for hours after removing the VR headset.

Even if you have experienced Virtual Reality sickness, you do not have to worry, there is a solution. It can be tempered and even overcome Motion Sickness caused by VR.

The next time you encounter problems with your VR, try (responsibly) the following.

VR Sickness

Small steps at the beginning.

If a game makes you feel discomfort, start by limiting your playing periods a few minutes at a time. When you start feeling uncomfortable, close your eyes, breathe deeply and take a short break before trying again. If you gradually increase the time you spend in this game, there is a good chance of overcoming the hassle in just a few days.

Ginger consumption (ginger).

If you eat ginger - or take a ginger supplement - one or two hours before wearing it Your VR headset, you may reduce your chances of feeling VR Sickness.

Use fan.

Another possible treatment of VR is to have a fan blowing your way while you are playing. It's not clear why a cool breeze on the skin makes you less likely to feel discomfort, but many VR users have reported that it really stops the hassle before it starts.

Get dramamine

If you have ever felt nausea on a boat or you have been stunned by reading in a car, some recommend dramamine. Dramamine is an anti-emetic drug that you can use to reduce any symptoms that may be caused by VR Sickness.

Wear a wristband

If you are looking for a possible solution that does not include medication, Sea-Bands may be the right choice. Sea-Bands (and other similar products) are the wristbands that put the acupuncture pressure on the Nei-Kuan spot on your wrist. The result, for many people, is the reduced sensitivity to Motion Sickness.

Marijuana

If you live in an area where marijuana is legal and you are big enough to use it, you may find the solution to medicinal cannabis. One of the basic applications of medical marijuana is to reduce nausea.

Search for Comfort Fashion Options

VR applications and game developers know that some people are sensitive to the VR-related side effects and many developers add the comfort settings their applications and games.

These settings usually consist of various techniques that make the experience more comfortable. This can be accomplished by changing things like the user's visual field, the user's viewpoint, or adding static elements that move with the user.

Not everyone is affected by it VR Sickness. Only some games or experiences will cause a sense of nausea in some people, while others may not experience it at all. Every person is different, and does not mean that the VR is just for a few. It just means you have to find your own comfort levels before immersing yourself in extraordinary games.
