Hacker spoiled the OGUSERS forum and published its database in another hacker forum, as the administration announced in the forum itself on Tuesday (I do not think you were confused).
OGUSERS, also known as OGU by its members, is a market forum that has apparently begun marketing OG user names like: unique, short and rare user names and is also known to be a forum for hackers specialize in splitting other people's accounts by taking control and then selling them at prices that exceed 5.000 dollars. Forum members also participated in a technique called "SIM swapping" to hijack people's phone numbers.
"It seems that someone was able to break the server through a custom plugin in the forum software and gain access to an old backup that is dated to 26 December 2018," says admin. "I understand the disappointment of all and I deeply regret that all of this has happened recently. You need to realize that other sites like this TwitterThe Facebook, Dropbox, Forums you've used in the past, and many others have been violated at least once. Fraudsters seem to work 365 days a year, "added admin.
Another hacker, with the pseudonym Omnipotent, announced hacking in another forum called Raidforums. Stolen data includes username of OGUSERS users, MD5 algorithm passwords, email addresses, IP addresses, source code, site data and private messages.
"It's like it has caught fire in the area," said OGUSERS at the Vice Motherboard. According to the member, people are leaving the area, worrying that the authorities have their data and others that they will now lose their bills.
